Wausau HWY 51/29 Freeway Reconstruction

GRAEF provided conceptual and final design for specific segments of this $200 million freeway upgrade of the USH 51/STH 29 corridor through the city of Wausau, Wisconsin.

Part of a large regional construction effort, plan development for the project required a cooperative effort between the WisDOT, Marathon County, the Town of RIb Mountain, and several consulting engineering firms that are working as part of an overall corridor team.
