Quarry Bridges

GRAEF provided structural design and prepared detailed plans for the construction of the three bridges in the new Quarry subdivision including an entry bridge over the Cocohatchee Canal and two other bridges over planned canals. Two of the bridges are 100 feet long, three-span structures with cast-in-place deck slabs. The 48 foot entry bridge is a single-span structure with prestressed concrete box beams. Details included decorative stone railings with monuments at each corner. Other design details consisted of utility chases hidden behind decorative parapets and grating, cart paths, sidewalks, and a 15 foot wide median planter.
