Guardian II Gas Lateral Natural Resource Investigation
This project involved wetland and natural areas investigations along three alternate proposed gas pipeline lateral routes. Phase I of the proposed pipeline would transport natural gas from an existing ANR pipeline to service paper mills in Kaukauna, WI. Future phases II and III are planned to serve communities further to the west.
Key to successfully completing this project was the thoughtful and diplomatic handling of the landowner contacts and following the specific criteria required to obtain access permission to each property on this highly contentious project. To accommodate agreements between the client’s representative and the various landowners, our team would on occasion be required to skip over certain properties and return later to complete our investigations. While a linear approach would have been easier, our team demonstrated the flexibility to handle this situation with little lost time enabling us to complete the project within the client’s budget and schedule.
