GE Medical Systems Milwaukee
GRAEF provided design assistance to organize and consolidate the GEMS-IT production facility in the former Marquette Electronics plant in Milwaukee. The project was focused on creating a visitor-friendly tour aisle through the electronic assembly areas, in essence, making the entire factory a showroom for customers interested in purchasing the sophisticated medical information management systems that are produced there. Special gathering areas called Town Halls were designed at strategic locations for graphic and video displays of sales information for customers as well as for training information for employee groups.
