Northwestern Mutual Franklin Campus
The new Northwestern Mutual Franklin Campus is comprised of a 585,000-square-foot, five-story office building and four-story parking garage located on approximately 80 acres. GRAEF provided structural engineering for the building design and the structural foundation design for the precast parking garage.
The exterior of the building is granite clad precast spandrel panels supported on precast column covers. The column covers are supported by the steel columns or the foundation walls. The office building contains a data center and loading docks. The central plant, which is located in the parking garage, houses all the mechanical equipment needed for the campus. This project is the first phase in a four -phase plan for the campus.
