Wisconsin Exposition Center

GRAEF provided structural and civil engineering services for the Wisconsin Exposition Center, the largest single exhibit hall in Wisconsin, and one of the largest facilities of its kind in the Midwest. The new facility, a replacement for five smaller expo buildings on site that were in varying stages of disrepair, will accommodate the smaller trade shows already using State Fair facilities, and attract larger commercial trade shows. The facility is located on the grounds of Wisconsin State Fair Park, six miles west of downtown Milwaukee.

Each exhibit hall is equipped with a show office, restrooms, and concession stands. There are four combinable meeting rooms and two boardrooms. The facility has five ground-level drive in bays, ten truck dock spaces, 30-foot clear ceiling, and 450 lbs. per square foot floor load. There are full utilities throughout and a permanent box office with a computerized ticketing system. The site is easily accessible and boasts 8,000+ on-site parking spaces.
